What We’re Looking For:

Want to work for the largest and most innovative electric skateboarding company in the world?  Evolve Skateboards is looking for a talented video editor to join our digital team to assist in producing creatives for social and marketing use. Ultimately, you will be a content-producing powerhouse predominantly editing video assets.

Responsibilities:

• Content post-production to match brief provide by digital team;
• Start to finish video post production;
• Good understanding of social media;
• Fast-paced turnaround for reactive marketing efforts;
• Ensuring produced media is in accordance with the branding guidelines;
• Consult with stakeholders to plan requirements of future productions;
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor;
• High competency with Adobe Creative Suite or similar (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut);
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio;
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity;
• The ability to iterate quickly and work methodically to meet deadlines;
• A keen eye for aesthetics and detail;
• Familiarity with motion graphics
• Creative mind and storytelling skills;
• Passionate about emerging trends and best practice design

We will also highly regard applicants with:

• Experience creating short form social content;
• Experience with skate/board/action sports;
• Ability to shoot/camera assist
